Hanson Student Leadership Team

Student Meeting Cycle

Ethos of student meetings – to come together as a collective student body, to listen to each other and to take on board the opinions of all students within the school. To ensure that there is a forum for all voices to be heard, for students to be empowered and to cultivate critical thinking skills.

There will be three types of student meetings. These will follow termly cycles throughout the academic year. The second and third cycle will not be planned until the first cycle has been completed and its success reviewed (see page 37).

Student Head Team Meetings

Aims: The Student Head Team will meet as a collective student body to discuss key school issues. The outcome of these meetings will determine the agenda for the Student Key Stage meetings.
